Darktooth 採用中性色調的深色背景（#1d2021），預設前景色為 #a89984。正文的 WCAG 對比度為 5.90:1（AA），12 種 ANSI 彩色槽位平均對比度 5.69:1，最低 2.49:1。

色板整體色彩飽和度適中，其中紅色為 #fb543f、綠色為 #95c085、藍色為 #0d6678、洋紅為 #8f4673。
