Nep 採用冷色調的深色背景（#758480），預設前景色為 #23476a。正文的 WCAG 對比度為 2.46:1（低於 AA），12 種 ANSI 彩色槽位平均對比度 1.96:1，最低 1.18:1。

色板整體色彩飽和度較高，其中紅色為 #dd6f00、綠色為 #00dd6f、藍色為 #6f00dd、洋紅為 #dd006f。
