Purplepeter 採用冷色調的深色背景（#2a1a4a），預設前景色為 #ece7fa。正文的 WCAG 對比度為 12.92:1（AAA），12 種 ANSI 彩色槽位平均對比度 8.14:1，最低 6.01:1。

色板整體色彩飽和度適中，其中紅色為 #ff796d、綠色為 #99b481、藍色為 #66d9ef、洋紅為 #e78fcd。
