Abyssal 採用中性色調的深色背景（#000000），預設前景色為 #e0e4e7。內文的 WCAG 對比度為 16.42:1（AAA），12 種 ANSI 彩色槽位平均對比度 9.82:1，最低 5.12:1。

色票整體色彩彩度適中，其中紅色為 #ff7518、綠色為 #39aa62、藍色為 #01a0e4、洋紅為 #ab5ccb。
