Ectoplasm 採用冷色調的深色背景（#06454a），預設前景色為 #effffb。內文的 WCAG 對比度為 10.40:1（AAA），12 種 ANSI 彩色槽位平均對比度 6.22:1，最低 4.65:1。

色票整體色彩彩度適中，其中紅色為 #f19b8d、綠色為 #78e0aa、藍色為 #76c9ef、洋紅為 #afa1e9。
