Newton Contrast 採用中性色調的深色背景（#121014），預設前景色為 #eaebff。正文的 WCAG 對比度為 16.06:1（AAA），12 種 ANSI 彩色槽位平均對比度 9.93:1，最低 2.87:1。

色板整體色彩飽和度適中，其中紅色為 #ba0e2e、綠色為 #fa824c、藍色為 #3c91e6、洋紅為 #fa824c。
