Derp 采用中性色调的深色背景（#000000），默认前景色为 #ffffff。正文的 WCAG 对比度为 21.00:1（AAA），12 种 ANSI 彩色槽位平均对比度 9.66:1，最低 3.09:1。

色板整体色彩饱和度适中，其中红色为 #d36265、绿色为 #aece91、蓝色为 #5297cf、品红为 #963c59。
